Vibe cooking with Claude and Grocy.
claude-cook is a personal recipe site built for kitchen use — designed to be read from a phone propped on the counter while cooking. No login, no clutter, no life story before the recipe.
The recipes
24 recipes across 12 cuisines, built around DASH and Mediterranean principles: high-fibre, low-sodium, heavy on vegetables, legumes, fish, and whole grains. Most serve one. A few are batch-friendly for meal prep.
Average 523 kcal per serving. Every recipe has full macro breakdowns (protein, carbs, fat, fibre) in the header, so you can eyeball your day without a tracking app.
Cuisines span chinese, fusion, indian, international, italian, korean, mexican, middle-eastern, moroccan, persian, scandinavian, vietnamese. The collection is always growing.
How it's organised
Browse by meal type — breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack — or search for an ingredient, cuisine, or technique. Every recipe is tagged, and tags are clickable: things like air-fryer, slow-cooker, batch-friendly, no-cook, high-fibre.
Under the hood
Built with Claude Code, Astro, and Tailwind CSS. Recipes are plain Markdown files with YAML frontmatter — no database, no CMS. Search is client-side via Pagefind. Kitchen inventory lives in Grocy.
